Online orders from new customers must be paid by credit card. Visa, MasterCard and American Express are acceptable methods of payment. Credit cards are debited upon shipment.
If your company currently has an open account with Navitar, you may provide a purchase order number during checkout.
All shipments are F.O.B. Rochester, New York. You have the option to ship items to the address of your choice. Shipping charges are based on the total weight of the merchandise shipping to that address. A street address is required.
Orders are shipped via UPS or FedEx (UPS only for online orders), and are prepaid and billed to the buyer. Customers have the option to use their own freight collect account. Please provide that account number during the checkout process. Navitar shipments remain the property of Navitar until invoices are paid in full.
Navitar ships to most locations outside the US. Any taxes/fees/duties associated with international orders are the responsibility of the consignee. For more information, please contact your Navitar sales representative.
Delivery is based on availability of stock. Standard delivery for in-stock items is 5-7 business days. For expedited UPS shipping options, all orders received before noon EST will be delivered according to the method selected. All non-stocked items are shipped within 2-3 weeks of order receipt. You will be notified if we are unable to deliver within these time frames and have the option to cancel. As an added service, if you have selected items with an extended lead-time, you will be contacted with recommendations for alternatives. We have no responsibility for loss or damage to the goods after we have delivered them to UPS.
Should you need to return a product, you must obtain a Return Materials Authorization number.
Exchanges and/or returns are accepted within 30 days of purchase.
All returns require a Return Materials Authorization (RMA) number. Please contact customer service at 1-800-828-6778 or 1-585-359-4000 or your sales representative directly to obtain an RMA.
RMA's are valid for 14 days from issue.
Items must be in original manufacturer's packaging.
Product should then be packaged in a separate carton with the Return Material Authorization Number clearly marked on this shipping carton and shipped to: Navitar, Inc. (include the RMA# in the Ship To address line) 200 Commerce Drive Rochester NY 14623.
Items returned without prior approval and a RMA number will be refused.
After 30 days, a RMA number is still required; however, only products found to be defective are accepted for repair or replacement for a period of one (1) year from invoice date.
All returned merchandise is subject to inspection and approval by Navitar before issuing credit or replacement.
Merchandise displaying use, misuse or other damage will not be accepted.
Refunds are issued to the credit card or Navitar customer account will be credited for the merchandise charged. Shipping fees are non-refundable.
Restocking charges of up to 20% may be applied to returns. A minimum of a 20% restocking fee will be charged for all returns between 31 and 120 days.
We collect sales tax on shipments within New York State unless the purchaser supplies us with a signed official state resale certificate or sales tax exemption certificate with the order.
*We require a resale certificate or sales tax exemption certificate for any order shipping into the State of California.
All pricing is subject to change. Navitar reserves the right to make adjustments due to changing market conditions, product discontinuation and cost changes. In the event Navitar determines an adjustment is necessary, we will contact you regarding the change and ask for your approval before completing the order. Navitar reserves the right to cancel the sales without any liability.
